Unpacking Atom Toys’ 1st Apparels Capsule Collection—Fun is Fundamental

The "Fun is Fundamental" capsule collection represents Atom Toys Studios' first foray into the streetwear scene, created in collaboration with Helsinki-based apparels craftsmaker Its Steezy. Having met through a mutual friend, we immediately hit it off with our passion for the contemporary street art scene and our journeys to where we are now. Very soon, we found ourselves talking about ideas on what we'd like to do in the street-style fashion arena, and talks became a concrete plan to collaborate on our very first clothing capsule collection.

Creating this collection has been a milestone for us. Especially since we're in our first year, stepping into clothing design was both exciting and humbling. From exploring materials to experimenting with styles and cuttings, we’ve had our work cut out for us as we navigated a steep learning curve. Similarly, the Steezy team was being exposed to the designer art toy world. Both worlds were coming together in harmony, and in the chaos came a reimagination on what T-shirts and collectible art toys could be. The final result is something that is fun, unique and packed with flavour—wearable art toys that pair in a playful twist with streetwear essentials.
